It’s the first of February!  I get to see Mommy and Kay and Betty in two weeks!  (Hi Ma)  Lots of news at this end of the Universe, namely that I was once again in the malicious grip of the Black Death but fought it off with the tenacity of a 17th century sicilian nun (there are maybe four people in the world who would actually get that reference).

So it’s February, which means it’s time for me to start baking again.  The January hiatus has always been good for my figure.  sigh.

It’s also the 30th Anniversary of WBHM!  Happy Birthday, Radio!  On that note, for those of you left in the hamlet or closer thereto, go see Midlake, they’re playing there on the 3rd.  Ooh, ooh, and also, Sparrow House is playing here tonight!

Ooh ooh ooh and also, it’s Katrina’s birthday!  Happy Birthday Katrina!

Last night I was fixing pictures in my picture frames, and opening just one, I found a whole treasure trove of discoveries.

Just look:
In that pretty gilded blue picture frame Tristan gave me, with the picture above in it (a great take from the Nutcracker opening) there was (along with an inexpressibly sweet note from T I just discovered, seven years later):

Goat-Eating Doesn't Even Raise Eyebrows Anymore
Queer #1: He wasn't that bad!

Queer #2: Honey, he was a T-R-O-double-L troll, okay?! An under the bridge-living, billy goat-eating mon-stuh!

Queer #1: Hahahahaha!

Queer #3: That was pretty harsh.

Queer #2: You're new here. I can tell.
